The fifth edition of BUSINESS TALKS POP UP @ SAUDI ARABIA – RIYADH took place on Tuesday, 20th May 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the Riyadh Diplomatic Quarter. This marked the twenty-first event since the inception of the initiative in 2021. The event featured a full-day program of keynote speeches delivered by distinguished speakers and subject matter experts, presented to a select audience of over 50 guests.

The agenda centred around three major thematic areas:
- Coastal and Ocean-Based Industries for a Thriving National Economy
- How Infrastructure Projects Contribute to Sustainable Development
- Coastal Development in Action: Strategic Drivers for Marine Tourism and Economic Diversification
Among the notable contributors, Dr. Ameer Eweida and Dr. Vienna Eleuteri presented the long-term vision for the Kingdom’s Blue Economy. Mr. Joel Baret and Dr. Kyle Spiers, from ILF Consulting Engineers, illustrated how large-scale infrastructure, when conceived according to regenerative design principles, can actively foster inclusive and forward-looking growth within emerging tourism and marine sectors. Dr. Ali Azhari provided an in-depth briefing on the current development trajectory of the Saudi Red Sea region, with a focus on the expanding opportunities in coastal tourism, port development, and the marine-based economy—all within a framework of sustainable territorial planning.
